house contains one single room, one twin room, and
three dormitories (2 x 6 beds; 1 x 5 beds).

Further Details
Accommodation consists of 17 bunk beds in three rooms,
2 x 6 bedded (of which one room is on the ground
floor) and 1 x 5 bedded room, and one single bedded
room. Extra beds can often be provided on request.
There is a living room with a small library of
religious books and other literature. The dining
room is next to the kitchen. There is central heating
and carpeting throughout the house.
Groups are expected
to be self-catering.
There is a small supermarket
at Chilcompton (about 10 mins walk). Previous visitors
often leave small supplies of sugar, salt, coffee
and tea bags.
The kitchen has two gas
cookers, a fridge and is equipped for 24 people.
There are four shower rooms and three toilets.
Sheets,
pillowcases and duvets are provided for the beds.
If the number of visitors is more than 20, sleeping-bags
will be needed. Towels are not provided.
Bibles (N.I.V.
24 copies, and others) are available, as are hymn
books (Folk Praise, Songs of the Spirit, Celebration
Hymnal).
On departure visitors
are asked:
to remake all the beds with 2 sheets and pillowcases
(no need to change duvet covers, unless soiled);
to clean the house, leaving it as they found it;
to write names and addresses in the Visitors’ Book,
and
to leave the key and telephone money as directed.
